Jacob Andrew Shepherd, age 12 of Arkadelphia, died Thursday, October 18, 2012. He was born July 18, 2000 in Little Rock the son of Michael and Amber Bryant Shepherd. He was a sixth grade student at Goza Elementry School, attended Arkadelphia Kid's Club, and attended Third Street Baptist Church and Bethany Baptist Church in Springhill, AR.
Survivors include his father Michael Shepherd of Arkadelphia, his mother Amber Shepherd also of Arkadelphia, special sister, Kayelen Marlar of Springhill, AR, paternal grand parents, Steve and Loretta Shepherd of Arkadelphia, fraternal grandparents Tommy and Belinda Bryant of Arkadelphia and his paternal grandmother, Thelma Shepherd of Arkadelphia, uncles and aunts, Jason and Sally Bryant and David and Stephanie Ammerman and cousins, Issac Bryant and Aston Ammerman.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in Third Street Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Latham officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be made to Camp Aldersgate or Nephrology Clinic at Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
