On February 18, 2012, James Robert Arnesen left our lives and went to be with the Lord. Born in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Bert Thomas and Mary Catherine Grady Arnesen, he was Director of Information Technology at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jim was a loving and protective brother and will be missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laurentine Grady of Oak Lawn, Illinois; brother, Thomas Arnesen of Washington; godmother, Anna Mae Pierce (Allen), uncle, James J. Grady (Patricia) and aunt, Patricia Murphy (Joseph), all of Illinois; and other family members, James Collins (Sheila), Jim Collins, Patty Galvin, Mary Ellen Collins, Nancy Stevens (Ron), Kathy Edwards (Mark), Dick Collins, Dan Collins and Debbie Keith.
Services will be held at St. Terrance Church in Alsip, Illinois on Saturday, March 3. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
