James Cline

James E. Cline, Sr., 82, of Little Rock passed away Friday, May 7, 2011. He was born in Plainview, Texas on July 30, 1928 to Vivian and E.F. Cline. Mr. Cline spent his business career in the grocery and food industry working the bulk of his career at the Kroger Co. He was a member of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church. He loved life, singing, dancing, watching sports and he adored his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Hatcher Cline; five children, James E. Cline, Jr., Carolyn Fuller (Bobby), Cindy Doramus (Paul, Sr.), Robin Cline (Karen) and Chris Cline (Rory); twelve grandchildren, Jeff Fuller (Nadine), J.R. Fuller (Kacky), Beau Cline, Paul Doramus, Jr. (Rachel), Tyler Cline, Elizabeth Gardner (Benjamin), Jessica Cline, John Doramus (Whitney), Adam Cline, Ben Cline, Charlie Cline and Oliver Cline; one great grandson, Jonah Fuller. His siblings, Pat Moore, Elizabeth Bradley (Glen), and Don Cline (Pat). He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Jean, twin daughter and son Merrilee Cline and Terry Lee Cline.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. James Suen for his heartfelt attention and care. Funeral services with be held at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the church parlor one hour prior to the service. There will be a private burial for family after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas or Pulaski Heights Baptist Church.
