James Cogburn

James Cogburn, age 48, of the Fancy Hill community of Montgomery County, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. He was born on November 13, 1970 in Mena, the son of Curtis Cogburn and Geraldine Golden Cogburn. On November 22, 2003, he was married to Sondra Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father; and his sister, Donna Graves. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car races and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Cogburn of Fancy Hill; two sons, Charles Cogburn and his wife, Shannen, of Bonnerdale and Daniel Henthorn of Fancy Hill; five grandchildren, Derek, Shysie, Zechariah, Abigail and Marylee; his mother, Geraldine Cogburn of Fancy Hill; four sisters, Darlene Reppo of Fancy Hill, Rhonda Scantling of Caddo Gap, Lynn Cogburn of Indiana and Samantha McCormick of Tennessee; and his nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. George "Boots" Donaldson officiating.
