James J. Comford, 87, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007. He was a member of Barcelona Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village.
He is survived by his son, Curt Alan Comford of North Platte, Nebraska; four grandsons, John Comford of Sherwood, Jody Comford of Ladies Island, South Carolina, Jason Comford, and Brent Comford both of Jacksonville; one special granddaughter, Emilie Maxfield of Dallas, Texas; four great-grandchildren, John Jr., Madison, Caroline and Colton. Mr. Comford was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Comford.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
