James Dewey Butler

James Dewy Butler was born in Dumas Arkansas on June 29, 1938 to Braddie Butler and Texana Adams Butler.

James accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined St. Stephens Missionary Church. James Butler worked and retired Jackson Cookie Company.

James was proceeded in death by his mother, Texana Adams Butler and father Braddie Butler, one son Garry Butler Sr., five brothers, and five sisters.

He cherished his wife of 21 years, Carolyn Butler, two sons, Louis Butler (Carla) Little Rock Arkansas. Garry Butler Sr. Proceeded in death (Tammie) Sherwood Arkansas. He also leaves behind 4 Grandchildren; Garry Jr, Alex, Louie, Kayla ; Great Grandchildren; Khloie, Micah, Ezrah; 15 Great Grandchildren, a village of nephews, nieces, cousins and host of friends.

Visitation will be held at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, Friday May 15th from 5:00- 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, 902 E St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, at 11:00 AM, Burial will follow at Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117, at 2 PM.
