James Watt Dodson, 87, of Little Rock passed away March 2, 2009. He was a World War II Army veteran, owner of Dodson Heat and Air Conditioning and a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marie Beard Dodson; two sons, Jimmy Wayne Dodson and Charles William Dodson and wife, Brenda, of Little Rock; daughter, Cynthia K. Dodson Walley, of Sardis; five grandchildren, Shannon, James, Crystal, Jimmy Dodson, Jr. and Gabriel Walley; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jess, Clarence and Charlie; and two sisters, Opal and Ruby.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
