James E. (Gene) Brashers was born February 4, 1935 in England AR, the youngest of eight. Gene left us on November 11, 2017, a mere 115 days after his wife of 60 years, Emma Lou Brashers. His son, Dale Brashers, also precedes Gene in death. Gene served in the Arkansas National Guard in the late 1950’s. Gene was employed by Petrolane/America-Gas as a truck driver for 40 years. Gene was the kindest, sweetest, most loving man, who leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Brenda (Keith), granddaughters; Tasha and Marie, great granddaughter; Avery Dale Robertson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will hold a celebration of life services for Gene and Lou in the near future.
