James Edgar Godwin

James Edgar Godwin, age 75 of Beebe, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2024.  He was born on May 26, 1948, in Agnos, Arkansas to Floyd and Velma Godwin.

He was a member of Beebe First Baptist Church.  Edgar started his apprenticeship with Timex and became the owner of his own Tool & Die Maker Company.  He loved to hunt and garden.  He was a huge Razorback fan and loved to coach from his couch.

Edgar is survived by his wife, JoAnn Godwin; two sons, Eric (Terri) Godwin and Aaron Godwin; two grandchildren Ethan and Eva Godwin all of Beebe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Velma Godwin; and two brothers, Johnny and Dale Godwin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6^th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Reception Room at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home.  The Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.  Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas.
