James "Jim" David Godwin, 65, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 after an extended illness.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Godwin, of North Little Rock; two brothers, Lester (Linda) Godwin, of Canton, Texas and David (Barbi) Godwin, of Springdale; former wife, Suzanne S. Godwin, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Emily and Elizabeth Tilbury; son-in-law, Van Tilbury and his wife, Elizabeth, of Little Rock; several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his children, Chip Godwin and Christie Godwin Tilbury and his father, Lester E. Godwin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice, ?christie?s corner?, 5600 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to service time at funeral home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
