James Hopkins

James "Jim" Ruben Hopkins, age 66, of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the result of an automobile accident. He was born March 17, 1951, the son of James Elbert and Margie Shelton Hopkins. Jim was a retired Supervisor at Alcoa in Malvern. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother, Charlie Hill; his wife of over 23 years, Kimberley Danyelle Bunn Hopkins.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Faith Addison Hopkins of the home; one son, Nathan Grant Hopkins; one brother, Richard Hill of TX.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Monday, October 30th at Third Street Baptist Church with Ray Franklin and Greg Latham officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 2-4 P.M. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 547 Mt.
