James Howard
James Hoyt Howard Jr., age 82, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his home. He retired from Sears as a electronic technician and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of nearly sixty-two years, Shirley Ann Howard; one daughter, Diane Featherston and husband, Glenn of Martin, Tennessee; one son, Douglas K. Howard and wife, Carol of Rufus, Oregon; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 8th at Forrest Hills Cemetery near Benton.
