James "JC" Clyde Martin, a beloved figure in his community, passed away on October 26, 2025. Born on September 8, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas, JC was known for his mischievous spirit and great sense of humor, endearing him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

JC dedicated many years of his life to his career as a mechanic, retiring from both 3M and Mountaire Feeds, where his skills and work ethic were highly respected. Those who knew him appreciated his ability to tinker, excelling at taking things apart and reassembling them, often with a few pieces left over. He had a great love for the outdoors, spending cherished moments fishing and hunting whenever he had the chance.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carolyn Martin; his daughter, Susan Moore (Tony); his sons, Eddie Martin, Robert Martin, David Martin, and Jamie Martin; his step-son, Ricky McCarty (Stephanie); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward. JC is also survived by his siblings, Ricky Martin (Becky) and Mary Bryant (Byron), who will remember him fondly.

JC was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Dorothy Martin; his step-daughter, Lavonda Smith; and his siblings, Larry Martin and Linda Smith. Their memories will remain as a testament to the strong family ties that JC valued throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
