James "Jim" Ingram, Jr., age 74, of Alpine, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born on April 4, 1939 at Prescott, the son of James Harold Ingram, Sr. and Lorraine Hill Ingram. On November 22, 1990, he was married to Lora Walden. A United States Army veteran, he was formerly employed as a mobile home mover and as a mechanic for the Lake Hamilton Fire Department. He attended the Word of Faith Church and the Amity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lora Ingram of Alpine; two children and their spouses, Kimberly and Michael Flagor of Katy, Texas and Jeff and Natasha Ingram of Lavaca; his step-son, Nathan Brown of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, James Flagor, Grace Flagor, Livia Flagor, Madison Ingram and Grayson Ingram; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy Ingram of Alpine, California; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Janice Walden of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Sister Mary Forsythe and Brother Glen Harris officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, in the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Nevada County. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Tom Hill, Carl Hill, Dale Richardson, Phillip Sutton, Troy Buck and Brian Kirksey. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lake Hamilton Fire Department with a special place for the memory of their former fire chief, Matt Simpson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
