James “Jimmy” Johnston, 88, of Sherwood, AR, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Jimmy was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James Pierce Johnston and Mary Westmoreland-Johnston on September 9, 1931. Jimmy moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas at an early age. He married the love of his life, Catherine Holt on September 17, 1953. Jimmy and Catherine had one son, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who they were extremely proud of. He loved being outdoors with his family; camping, playing tennis, playing volleyball and traveling the world. He was a die-hard Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboy’s fan. If they were playing, he was watching!
