James L. Mauldin

James L. Mauldin, 66, of Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, March 8, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born April 1, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to A.L. and Ruby Mauldin.

James enjoyed being a dad and grandfather.  He loved riding four wheelers, hunting and fishing with his buddies.  One of his favorite things to do was sitting on the swing in his front yard.  When he wasn’t doing that, he would spend time playing basketball with the grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his baby sister, Debra Gray.

Survivors include his two daughters, Brittany “Cheyenne” Williams and Kari (Jake) Roberts, both of Bismarck; his brother, Robert Mauldin of Bismarck and his four grandchildren, Kathrynn “Pumpkin” Trahan, Gauge “Worm” Trahan, Braxton McDaniel and Jacob Roberts as well as many “adopted” grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
