James O. (Jimmy) Smith, 73 of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2006. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Rose Hill Nazarene Church.
Survivors are his wife, Johnnie Smith of Little Rock; 1 son, Bradley Smith of Sherwood; 2 daughters, Jamy Caple and her husband Charles and their children, Brandon and Brett Caple, all of Bryant, and Sonya Meeker of Oktaha, Oklahoma; 1 step-daughter, Marsha Strickland of Texarkana; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Joyce Ann ?Susie? Hardin of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Erkle (Loux) Smith, and a brother, Lemual Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association or Hospice Home Care.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
