James Henry Ricks

James Henry Ricks, a member of the Hot Springs community, has passed away at the age of 76. James was born on December 7, 1946, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Lucien Ricks and Cora Green Ricks.

He began his professional journey by working for SWBT for four years and later transitioned to Arkansas Power and Light/Entergy Corp. His dedication and commitment to his work were evident throughout his four-decade-long career.

Beyond his professional life, James had a deep love for nature and the great outdoors. He found solace in spending time immersed in the beauty of nature. Whether it was hiking through scenic trails, water skiing on peaceful lakes, or hunting and fishing for bass and crappie, James cherished every opportunity to connect with the natural world around him.
