James H. Russell age 78 of Carthage, AR died Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born April 25, 1938 the son of Harold and Martha Ballard Russell. He was a retired machinist and truck driver, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and of Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Russell and a brother Bob Russell.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Russell, two sons, James W. (Debbie) Russell of Carthage and John (Julie) Russell of Dayton, NV, his mother, Martha Russell of Cathage; two brothers, Simon (Pamela) Russell of CA and John (Diana) Russell of Nashville, AR, two step-sons, David (Rosemarie) Allen, of Utah and Darrell (Angie) Allen of Malvern, five step-daughters, Bonnie Brooks and Joy (Shane) Allen both of Malvern, Cynthia (Glen) Jacobs of CA, Lynita (Randy) Faulkner of FL and Cari (Ronald) Brown of TX, three grandchildren and 20 step-grandchildren, twin great grandsons and 11 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 18th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Pastor Paul Martin officiating. Burial will be in the DeLamar Cemetery near Manning. Visitation will be 9 AM till service time at the funeral home.
Memorials may be to the DeLamar Cemetery Fund or your favorite charity.
