J. D. Shaw, age 78 of Gurdon, died February 9, 2010 in Little Rock. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Mike and Gary Shaw both of Arkadelphia; one stepson Keith Barnes Clarksville, AR; one brother Jimmy Hughes of Caney, AR; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Velma Shaw, one son Lennie Shaw, and one brother Wayne Hughes.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday February 12 at the DeGray Cemetery with Rev. Greg Latham officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5- 7 at the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home.
