James Stanley

James Eugene Stanley finished his course of life on August 27th 2024. He was pre-deceased by his mother and father Bill and Marie Stanley and his sister Billie Jean Stanley Wiseman. He was also the grandson of Oscar Stanley, the founder of Levy Arkansas. Jim was born on January 2nd, 1940. And in the years between 1940 and 1950, he developed a profound interest In that particular era. He became an excellent artist and modeler of world war II aircraft and armament. He served honorably in the Arkansas national guard. He became an expert gunsmith and restorer of weapons and even military equipment of all sizes. His memory of the history of levy, Camp Robinson and Camp Pike was immense and he was the last named Stanley to work at Stanley hardware. He will be remembered by his niece, Mary Wiseman Shffield and her husband Tom, nephew, Mike Shuffield and niece Lauren Shuffield All of North Little Rock. Nephew Charles E. Wiseman Jr. And wife, Laurie Of Virginia Beach, Virginia and nephew Joseph Stanley Wiseman and wife Amber of Mobile, Alabama. No service will be held except in the memories of those who knew him well. Rest in peace, Jim, you will be missed.
