James M. Sturdivant, Sr., 68, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. He was born in Little Rock on March 3, 1943 to Cyrus N. and Martha V. Sturdivant.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Sturdivant Metrailer; children, James M. "Mickey" Sturdivant, Jr. (Janeen) of Louisville, KY., Barry Sturdivant of Little Rock and Amy Sturdivant of Little Rock; brothers, W.A. "Sonny" Sturdivant of Little Rock, R.J. "Bobby" Sturdivant of Gig Harbor, WA and Larry Sturdivant of Little Rock; sisters, Diane Sedberry of Bryant and Wanda Ramey Drohen of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Carly and Ben Sturdivant and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, No. Little Rock, AR 72116.
