James Thompson

James Edward Thompson, of Searcy, Arkansas, born March 10, 1929, went home to be with our Lord on April 5, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Thompson; his children, Bobby and Sheila Thompson, Betty and Glenn Scissell, Nancy and Brent Lainhart, Nancy and Jeffery Niswonger, Tina and Doug Sherman, April and Matt Smith; three stepchildren, Wayne and Betty Tucker, Larry and Linda Tucker, and Linda and Roger Patterson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter, Madi.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Onie Thompson; his wife of fifty years, Ruth Thompson; daughters Cecil Robinson and Rose Ann Flowers; and one son, Billy Thompson
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
