Jamie Ball

Jamie Ball, age 90, passed away on October 29, 2026.

Born on May 20, 1936 in Columbia, Kentucky, Jamie lived a life marked by devotion to family, faith, and service. On August 29, 1998, she married Robert Ball, and together they shared years of love and companionship. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Royal, reflecting the faith that was an important part of her life.

Jamie was retired from the Family Medicine Clinic, where she gave of herself through her work and daily dedication. She also served as former President of the Hot Springs Emblem Club, a role that spoke to her leadership and involvement in her community.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Law, and by her beloved pet Uptown Buster Brown.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Robert Ball; her stepdaughter, Laura Kennedy; and her grandsons, Corwin Kennedy and Christian Kennedy. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who carry her memory forward.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on November 5, 2026, at Smith Family Funeral Home - Hot Springs, 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on November 6, 2026, at Smith Family Funeral Home - Hot Springs, 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
