Jane Duncan

Jane Duncan, age 97, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. She was born on January 31, 1919 in Prescott, the daughter of William Franklin Hunter and Jennie Paralee Whitten Hunter. On October 26, 1938, she was married to Adrian Duncan who preceded her in death on August 5, 1981. She loved teaching an Adult Bible Class and tending to her flowers. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Connie Kemp of Glenwood, Mary and Albert Lambert of Amity and Ina and Carl McKee of Jackson, Tennessee; five grandchildren and their spouses, Becki and Ed McCall, Cindi and John Thornton, Tim McKee, Adrian and Debbie McKee and Mac McKee; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and her very special friends, John and Shirley Horton of Bonnerdale. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Rick Collie officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Grants Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim McKee, Albert Lambert, Ed McCall, Ted McCall, Andy McCall and Eddie Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be John and Shirley Horton, Terry and Tammie Diggs, her neighbors, David and Gail, Wayne Godwin, William Godwin, Ted Friend, Doyle Diggs and Tony Weatherford.
