Janet Vogelgesang

Janet Elizabeth Meurer Vogelgesang, 70, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born in Little Rock, AR on October 16, 1946 to Carl and Elizabeth (Welter) Meurer. She was a secretary in the Health Care Industry. Janet was an accomplished pianist and particularly liked performing at family Christmas gatherings. She thoroughly enjoyed her hobbies of jewelry making, raising irises, art projects and writing.

She is survived by her brothers, Carl Meurer, Jr. (Andrea) of Little Rock, Tom Meurer (Elizabeth) of Holland, AR; nephews, Adam Meurer (Fiancee Angie Grimm), Raphael Meurer (Courtney), Kurt Meurer (Amy) and Kevin Meurer (Jennifer); niece, Rose Beth Meurer (Matt Iesue); several great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Isabelle, Eve, Maddox, Alexa, Lily and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Don Paladino and James Vogelgesang.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19th, at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Little Rock with Father Warren Harvey officiating. Rosary will start at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18th, with visitation following at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Entombment will be at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, AR.
