Janey L. Hudson, 70, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away on August 12, 2026, at Hospice Home Care on Bowman Rd. She was born on September 7, 1955, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the late Thomas and Clara Hudson.
Janey served in the Army and Navy. She returned to Arkansas in 1994 and was employed at WLS Sawmill when she retired in December 2021. She enjoyed camping and fishing with family, friends, and her dog(Max). She was an active member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceding Janey in death are her father, Thomas Winford Hudson and Mother Clara Jane Hudson; both grandparents; and her brother Steven W. Hudson.
Janey leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Cheryl Burks of Bauxite, Arkansas; sister-in-law Peggy Smith (Richard) of Clinton, Arkansas; sister-in-law Jessica Hudson of Bryant; two nephews: Steven “Bo” Hudson and wife Sharon of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Andrew Hudson and wife Kirstie of Bauxite, Arkansas; two nieces: Angela Moore and Candi Warner both of Bauxite, Arkansas; grandnephews: Hayes Hudson, Brady Arthur and Jace Wright; grandnieces: Ashton Burks, Holli Moore, Morgan Moore, Macy Malott, Langston Moore; great nephews: Xzander, Aydan, Asher; great nieces: Autumn, Brynlee, Avery, Everly Jane, Oaklynn, Rosabellla, Ainsley Jane and Maisie Laine; step-niece Tiffany; step-nephew Hunter; and other family and friends.
To honor Janey’s life, a visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearer honors are entrusted to: Andrew Hudson, Steven "Bo" Hudson, Brady Arthur, Jace Wright.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in the form of donations may be made to West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church's Building Fund. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Little Rock VA Women's Clinic and Hospice Home Care Staff for their compassionate support and care.
