Janice Lee Hose, 72, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on April 22, 2023.

Born on March 29, 1951 in Clear Spring, MD, Janice was the daughter of Jacob M. and Helen S. (Flohr) Carbaugh. She married Robert Hose on June 25, 1983. Janice graduated from Clear Spring High School in 1969, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Education from Washington Bible College in 1973. Janice was an elementary school teacher at Heritage Academy, Hagerstown, MD, for nine years and a private tutor with Jerry Brandt Crusades, Colorado, for one year. For thirteen years, she homeschooled her daughter, Emily. Janice worked at Antietam Recreation, Hagerstown, MD, at the day camp, and later, in the Cowboy Christmas Show, notably as Matilda, for over a decade. Janice was an active member of the Hagerstown Bible Church serving as a teacher and women's ministry leader. At the time of her death, she was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, Little Rock, AR, where she had served in the nursery and co-led a Discipleship Group with Bob. She also led home Bible studies for ladies in her community.

Janice is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Emily Sheaffer and husband Daniel, brother Harold Carbaugh, sister Kathleen Traegler and husband John, brother-in-law Jim Dodge, grandchildren Hayden, Isaac, Jerrod, and Evelyn Sheaffer, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, AR 72223. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorial donations may be given to Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, AR 72223, or Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
