Janice Luxon

Janice Marie Luxon, 57, passed away April 18, 2011. She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on November 11, 1953. Preceded in death by her father, Tommy Murphy, she is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas Charles Luxon; her mother, Jennie Murphy; her children, April Stalcup Collier, Brandon Stalcup, Jon-Daryl Holifield and Taylor Woodard; and step-daughters, Lauren and Briana. She is also survived by her sisters, Sherry, Barbara, Vicky and Laura-Beth; brother, Randy; and grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Holland, Avaleigh, Farah, Nicholas and Tony; and many nieces and nephews.
Janice's strong belief in Jesus Christ led her to start each day with an appreciation of life. She had the joy of nature within her and thankfulness for the many gifts that God had bestowed upon her. She took nothing for granted and moved forward through life, changing, adapting and standing strong in her convictions.
Janice was happiest while in the presence of her children and family. She also had a warm smile and hug for all her friends. Janice loved to work around her house and in the garden. She was always a lady and wise beyond her years. This world is a better place from her teachings and wisdom for those who were rewarded with having her as part of their lives. We will miss and love you forever.
