Janice Marie Mayberry, age 65, of Mount Ida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on December 22, 1947 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Billy Standridge and Opal Sekavec Standridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tammy Mollett; and her sister, Billie Jo Standridge. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Mount Ida and retired after 33 years with Mount Ida Footwear. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Mayberry of Mount Ida; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Ashley Mayberry of Mount Ida; her step-mother, Lucille Standridge of Bonnerdale; three grandchildren, Ida Todd of Bonnerdale, Stormi Mayberry and Dawson Mayberry, both of Mount Ida; three sisters, Barbara Beaumont and her husband, Richard, of Houston, Texas, Sheila Sheffield of Bonnerdale and Sonya Standridge of Oregon; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Faith Tabernacle Church with Bro. Paul Burke and Bro. Jerry Fagan officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the church. Interment will be in the Joplin Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be David "Dutter" Whisenhunt, Gary Sivley, Trey Fiorello, Teddy Weston, Jeremy Austin, Galen Burke and Verby Scrimshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Montgomery County Judge Alvin Black, Mount Ida Mayor Jo Childress, Montgomery County Road Department employees, Mount Ida city employees and the doctors and critical care nurses of Mercy Hospital, Hot Springs.
