Janis Whittiker

Janis Whittiker, 73, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went on to gain her reward on September 13, 2026. She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 21, 1952, to Audie and Eva Jones.

She loved canning and freeze-drying any food she could. Janis was an avid piano teacher for special needs children and adults. She loved gardening, especially her roses. She was a talented crafter and would sew and make anything from pillows to clothes. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. Janis loved having family dinners and treasured cooking having family over for holiday.

Janis is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James Larry Whittiker, Sr.

She is survived by her three children, James Larry (Vickie) Whittiker, Jr., of Ward, Arkansas, Jeffrey Alan Whittiker, Sr., Josh (Denise) Whittiker; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Thursday, September 17th at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon to be followed by the funeral service.
