J.C. Daniel

James Clyde “J.C.” Daniel, 96, of Harmony Community in Perry County, passed away on October 26, 2023.

He was a deacon of Harmony Baptist Church, a retired Taxidermist and an avid hunter and fisherman.

J.C. is survived by his wife, Dorothy Greenway; son, Leroy (Janey) of Harmony; daughters, Linda Pruitt of Sherwood and Melissa Kay Holloway (Carl) of Houston. He also is survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

J.C. is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Melissa Daniel; his wife of sixty-three years, Nadine Lee Daniel; daughter, Laura Ann Daniel; son-in-law, Robert L. Pruitt; granddaughters, Jeanette Daniel and Lauren White; and grandson, Chris Black.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
