J.D. Jackson
J.D. Jackson, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born March 30, 1925 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Walter and Allie Lee McKinney Jackson. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and attended Morrison Chapel for 15 years.
He is survived by wife of 15 years, Mary Jackson; son, Carroll Jackson (Tracey) of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Todd Jackson, Wendy Lewis, Rebecca Harper and Jeremy Jackson; and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Waters, Jackson Harper, Tyler Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Annie Jackson, Hudson Lewis and Kinley Lewis. He was preceded in death by his Murl of 59 years; son, Gerald Jackson; granddaughter, Brandy Jackson; brothers and sisters, Gladys Rollins, Clarice Fonville and Walter “Junior” Jackson.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28th at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home Reception Hall.
