Jean Kirkland

Jean Kirkland, 91, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026.

She was born in Searcy, Arkansas to Omie and Aline Taylor. She was a faithful member of the Austin Church of Christ, and she is now at peace with God who she faithfully served. She was loved by many, and her kind spirit will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Kirkland, her son, Ronnie Kirkland, and her parents, all of whom she loved so much.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Becky Copeland; four grandchildren, Rhonda (Rudy) Cantu, Rodney (Tommi) Kirkland, Kimberly Crutchfield, Josh (Annie) Copeland; five great-grandchildren, Alex Cantu, Gabe Cantu, Copeland Crutchfield, Jacob Hedden, Eva Jean Kirkland; one great-great grandchild, Ezra Cantu; brothers James, Charles, Gary and sister Linda.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
