Jean Sliter, 87, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009. She was born November 14, 1921 in South Haven, Michigan to the late Fred and Caroline Stastny Stratton. Mrs. Sliter was a member of Lynch View Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Pulaski County School District as a Food Service Manager.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Sliter of Little Rock and Bobby Sliter of North Little Rock; a daughter, Marilyn Wilson of Hensley; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sliter was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sliter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
