It is with profound sorrow and deep reverence that we announce the passing of Jeanettee Ann Parton, beloved wife, mama, meemaw, and friend, who left this world on August 26, 2026, at the age of 54. She was born on July 16, 1972, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Barbara R. Morgan. Jeanettee lived a life brimming with passion, service, and dedication to her loved ones.

Jeanettee’s journey was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her remarkable career, primarily serving in the Army and the National Guard. As a heavy diesel mechanic, she surpassed expectations, proving herself to be a true master of her craft and the first female wage leader in Arkansas, where she led a team of ten men with unmatched skill and grace. Her proudest achievement came during her deployment in Iraq, where she had the unique opportunity to serve alongside her son, Jacob—a moment that encapsulated her love for family and duty.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jeanettee embraced life with zest and enthusiasm. She cherished her role as a homemaker, a creator of cherished memories in her kitchen where her baking talents were often praised by her family, particularly by Llew, who proudly proclaimed her the best baker he knew. Her passion extended to gardening and caring for all creatures great and small, as evidenced by her beloved pets—each memorialized in her lovingly maintained pet cemetery.

Jeanettee was also a dedicated genealogist, spending over three years compiling her family’s history through oral stories, heirlooms, and connections on ancestry.com. This project was a labor of love, serving as a testament to her belief that family was everything. With a heart full of wisdom, she was known for her favorite saying, “I am the Great and Powerful Mama/Memaw; I know everything,” a sentiment that echoes in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved husband Anthony Parton, who is forever grateful for the 11 years he got with Jeanettee. She is also survived by her sons Llewellyn Hunter and Jacob (Stephanie) Hunter, daughters Rosie Garringer, Lauren (Bradley) Douglas, and Amanda Parton, and her 5 grandchildren Maxson, Remington, M.J., Gracie, and Isaiah.

As we gather to celebrate Jeanettee’s remarkable life, we invite family and friends to join us for a service that will honor her loving spirit and indomitable strength. Visitation will be held at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 N. Main St. North Little Rock, AR 72114) on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM at with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 PM, where she will receive her military honors. A family graveside service will take place in the Spring of 2027, where she will be laid to rest in South Dakota.

Jeanettee Ann Parton’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and touched. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all to live with love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to family.
