Jeffrey Andrews Handy

Jeffrey Andrews Handy, age 67, passed away peacefully at Saline Memorial Hospital on December 26, 2024. Jeff was a beloved father, Papa, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was known for always having a smile on his face, for his kindness, and for his unwavering spirit.

He was born in Los Angeles, California on March 18, 1957, to James W. Handy, Sr. and Irene Andrews Handy.

Jeff worked at many Ford dealerships as a part salesman for 40 years. His commitment and expertise in his field were highly regarded by his colleagues and peers. He was also a devoted member of Hurricane Lake Baptist Church in Bryant, Arkansas. His faith and church family were very important to him. Jeff loved spending time with his family, along with singing in the choir at church.

He is survived by his loving wife, who he called his "Angel", Cathy Handy, of Bryant, AR; his children: Amanda Blevins (Steven), Dustin Handy (Mike), and Devin Franks (Travis). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Hunter, Emily, and Lawson; by his brother and sister: Jimmy Handy (Joan) and Joy Vann; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and extended family that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jeff loved to go motorcycle riding and to old car shows, and he was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He loved nothing more than watching Razorback football and basketball games.

In honor and celebration of Jeff’s life, a Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2024, at Hurricane Lake Baptist Church, 2516 Springhill Rd., Bryant, AR. Although Jeff may have left this earth, his memory and legacy will live on in those closest to him. His family and friends will miss him dearly, but find solace in knowing that he has entered into eternity with his Savior.
