Jerald Teague

Jerald Bryan Teague, 74, of Cabot passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born September 21, 1942 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Virgie (Morgan) and Harvey Teague. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for thirteen years before becoming a General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. Jerald enjoyed building houses for his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and his way. He had a compassion for others and his laughter and smile will be greatly missed. His girls were the joy of his life. Jerald and the girls sang and danced down the road on many trips and adventures. He was Granddaddy to many more than just his four girls.
He is survived by his daughters, Toni Lyne Teague Erwin (Gary) and Kelly Welcher; four granddaughters, Jessica Erwin, Kaylee Welcher, Meagan Welcher and Jordan Erwin; sister, Velva Collins; brother, Harold Teague (Susan); and a host of extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 11923 Zion Hill Road, Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29th at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 30th at the church. Burial will follow in Sumner Cemetery.
