Jeremy David Swicegood, 24, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, was born June 10, 1984, at Searcy, Arkansas, and he died February 28, 2009. He was a 2001 graduate of Bryant High School.
Jeremy was preceded in death by grandfather, David "Doc" Swicegood, grandparents, Bobby and Marvelene Logsdon; and a special cousin, Jeffery Starkey.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Gina Swicegood of Beebe and Valerie and Lee Smith of Mabelvale; one brother, Joshua Swicegood and wife Kim and their children, Brittney and Tyler; three stepbrothers, Justin Scroggins, Blake Scroggins and Troy Smith; two stepsisters, Jessica Smith and Jenni Hays Groves; paternal grandmothers, Linda Swicegood and Dorothy Hamilton, both of Beebe; maternal grandparents, Carl and Shirley Smith of Benton; great-grandparents, June and Bob Hay and Harvey L. Harper; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Beebe First Assembly of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI, 712 W. 3rd St., Ste. 200, Little Rock, AR 72201-2222.
