Jerome Alfred Bridges, age 89, of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Twin Rivers Health & Rehab. He was born Jan. 1, 1917 in Clark Co., AR the son of the late Alfred Whetzel and Ethel Gertrude McAnally Bridges. He was a bridge superintendent and a Master mason. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Meador Bridges and a stepdaughter, Vicki Duke Rudolph.
Survivors include his wife, Adell Allen Bridges; two daughters, Patsy Wray of Humble, TX and Brenda Matthews of Maumelle, AR; one sister, Louise Clark of Arizona; two grandchildren,Larry Wray of Palm Springs, CA and Craig Matthews of Maumelle, AR one step-grandson, Eric Davis of Arkadelphia; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 10:00 AM Saturday, March 4, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Rusty Jones and Rev. Carl Kluck officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation from 5-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
