Jerry Dean Bradford

Listen to Obituary

Jerry Bradford was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and policeman. He was born on February 7, 1962, to Peggy and Dewey Bradford.

He was survived by his wife, Wanda, his sister, Paula (Charlie), his brother BJ, his daughters Cindy Riley (Joel), Shalae Hesselbein (Aisling), April Kamara, and Ashlee Butler, and five grandchildren.

Jerry believed in protecting and serving his community, starting with his time in the U.S. Marines. His community service continued when he joined the Sherwood Police Department, where he honorably served for 30 years, making Lieutenant, and holding that position until he retired.

After retirement, Jerry enjoyed the quiet comforts with his loving wife and his dog Lulu.

Jerry was also a man of God, and we know that he went home to be with his Savior and family members that went before him.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"

Isiah 40:31
