Jerry Lynn Partin, 74, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away March 10, 2016. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Jerry McClelland Partin and Flora Ann Stevens Partin, she retired as a supervisor at Louisiana State University after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Flora Jarrell (Glenn) of Kentwood, Louisiana, Benjamin Joseph Dedon of Krotz Springs, Louisiana, Betty Lynn Dedon of Clinton, Arkansas and Frances "Misti" Jo Gourgues of Port Allen, Louisiana; sister, Pauline Achord (Huey) of Baton Rouge; brother, Larry Wayne Partin of Livingston, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth Partin, sister, Barbara Lear, grandson, Clay Minson, and the father of her children, Joseph Dedon.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
