Jerry F. Sanders, 77, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009. Born October 19, 1931 in Shreveport, Lousiana, the son of Florent A. and Bernice Sanders, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Christian. He belonged to the American Legion, and loved the outdoors, especially when gardening or playing golf.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Sanders; sons, Mark Sanders (Frances) and David Sanders; sister, Linda McKinney (Rhea); grandchildren, Blake, Michael and Sierra Sanders; two aunts, two nephews, cousins and his faithful dog, Jake.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock.
