Jess Odom

Jess Douglas Odom, 37, of Maumelle, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007. He was Broker/Owner of Exit Realty Maumelle, a member of First Baptist Church of Maumelle, director for the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce and Maumelle Arts Council. Mr. Odom was a member of the Rat Pack Society, Little Rock Realtors Association, Arkansas Realtors Association, National Association of Realtors, Maumelle Citizens Academy and a graduate of Leadership Maumelle.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon (Prater) Odom; a daughter, Allie Odom; parents, Gordon and Gayle Odom Hornaday, all of Maumelle and Paul and Shelia Odom of Conway; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Bethany Hornaday of Fordyce, Todd and Alicia Prater of Vilonia; grandparents, Willastein Odom of Little Rock, Mildred Spears of North Little Rock and Lorene Prater of Maumelle; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jess Odom, founder of Maumelle and Treber Prater; and grandmother, Inez Ward.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Maumelle, 100 Valencia Drive, Maumelle, Arkansas. A candle light prayer gathering will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Exit Natural State Realty Maumelle, 105 Country Club Parkway, Suite 200, Maumelle, Arkansas.
