Jesse James "Jimmy" Gilbreath

Jesse James “Jimmy” Gilbreath, born on July 16, 1940, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Jim and Ardella Gilbreath, went home to be with Jesus on March 10, 2026.

Jimmy was a member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was marked by love for his family and the Lord. He will be remembered for his steady presence, funny stories, love for the truth, and passion for duck hunting and fishing. His favorite verse was Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

He is preceded by his beloved wife of 50 years, Glenda Lois Gilbreath; two of his brothers, Wayne Gilbreath and Ronnie Gilbreath; and grandson, Casey Brock.

He is survived by three daughters, Jessica Gilbreath, DeAnn Whitfield (David), and Melissa Brock (Mike); one son, James Gilbreath; eight grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, three brothers, and two sisters.

Jimmy’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew and loved him.

Visitation is 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2026 at First Pentecostal Church, North Little Rock. Funeral Service is 10:00 AM, Friday, March 20, 2026 at the church with entombment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
