Jesse Wayne Martin

Jesse Wayne Martin, 75, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away January 21, 2023. He was born November 27, 1947 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Charles and Bessie Martin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Angelee Mullis, and Ginny Smith. Jesse is survived by his children, Rebecca Escobar and Charles G. Martin; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mary Herr of Lincoln, Nebraska, Linda Burdick of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Jan Hannah of Alexander, Arkansas; uncle, Mike Bakalekos; many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Jesse enjoyed various occupations through the years including restaurant management, policeman and truck driving. He served several years in the United States Marines. He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed his time as a Shriner and a Mason.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
