Jesse Alfred Parrish, 65, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012. He was born on April 20, 1947 in Sardis, Georgia and was a United States Navy veteran.
Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jacqueline Parrish, sister, Katherine Ellison and brother, Ralph Thompson, he is survived by his wife, Sue Parrish; brothers, Larry Parrish of Sardis, Georgia and Roy Parrish of East Brunswick, Georgia; sister, Linda Oglesby, of Cleveland, Georgia; grandchildren, Jeffrey Whitfield of Ft. Worth, Texas, Tyler Whitfield of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Talorian Parrish of Laveen, Arizona; and he was loved by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20 from 9-10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Rev. Eddie Kelson will officiate.
