Jesse Alvin Schweitzer, age 80 died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born September 2, 1925 in Manning, AR the son of the late Martin A. and Edna Mae Schweitzer. He was retired from Reynolds and was a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Irene M. Schweitzer, three sisters, Dorothy Cobb, Jean Trigg, Letha Martinez, one brother, James Schweitzer and one sister-in-law, Donna Schweitzer.
Survivors include two sons; Richard Schweitzer of Florida and Martin Schweitzer of Donaldson, AR; three daughters, Peggy Walker and Linda Kerrigan both of Friendship and Beverly Krey of Minnesota; two brothers-in-law, O.J. Cobb of Washington, and Roy Trigg of Arkadelphia, AR; three sisters-in-law, Wanda Duncan of Kansas, Sue McLaughlin of Hot Springs, AR and Becky Woods of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Graveside will be 1:30 PM Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 in Delamar Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Family will at 240 River St. in Friendship.
