Jesse “Leo” Wigginton, 96, of Hot Springs, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
He was born on September 16, 1929 in Clayton, Oklahoma, the son of the late Jess Wigginton and Hazel Johnson Wigginton. On April 22, 1969, he married Calista Wigginton (who passed away on July 2, 2015).
Jesse was a member of the Lake Hamilton Assembly of God. He was a wonderful husband for 46 years.
Jesse is survived by his biological daughter, Leanne Keeling of Kansas. Step children, Carolee Tremayne of Hot Springs, Raymond Tremayne (Debbie) of Hot Springs, and Patrick Tremayne of Malvern, James Tremayne of Springhill, Louisiana – deceased; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and talking about his life adventures to whomever would listen.
As many will mourn this loss, many will also rejoice in their memories of the time shared with Jesse.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Lake Hamilton Health & Rehab for their care of Jesse during the past five years. The staff gave him the special name “cowboy” which he absolutely loved. Special thanks to those who provided him with unlimited peppermints and cough drops through the years (you know who you are)!
