Jessica Ann Cossey, born on June 14, 1983, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on September 24, 2024. She was a vibrant soul known for her generous spirit and unconditional love for others. Jessica embodied kindness and had an unparalleled ability to see the best in people, creating connections that enriched the lives of those around her.

Jessica's love was fierce and devoted, particularly towards her sons, Jordan Ashford and Braydan Ashford, who she considered her proudest achievements. A devoted mother, she took her role as a protector seriously, often referring to herself as a "Mama Bear." Her nurturing nature extended to her family, including her loving parents, Larry Lynn and Rebecca (Dortch) Cossey, her sister Amanda Curtis and her husband Kevin, her brother Lucas Cossey, her treasured nephew, Bailey Curtis, as well as her great niece, Taylor Curtis. Simply put, Jessica's family was everything to her.

Professionally, Jessica was an apartment manager, where her strong problem-solving skills shined. She was often placed in challenging situations, and her ability to navigate them with empathy spoke volumes about her character. Jessica had a remarkable way of connecting with those in struggle, drawing upon her own experiences to extend support and understanding.

Jessica had a wonderful sense of humor, often making others laugh and bringing joy to many. Her life was filled with moments of light and laughter, underscoring her belief in the goodness of people and life's potential for joy.

Jessica is also survived by a host of many other family members and friends who will remember her warmth and positivity. In her passing, those who knew her mourn not just her absence, but the loss of a truly remarkable person whose compassion and dedication shaped so many lives.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kaitlyn Marie Cossey, and her cherished grandparents, O.J. and Mary Dortch and Huie and Vivian Cossey.

A visitation will be held on October 3, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at 1:00 PM at GRACEchurch East End, located at 24300 US-167, Hensley, Arkansas, 72065. Following the service, Jessica will be laid to rest at Salem Cemetery, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Pallbearer honors have been entrusted to: Blain Smith, Kaeden Phonvilai, Gary Cossey, Trevor Cossey, Cole Cossey, and Robert Cossey.

Jessica's legacy of love, resilience, and humor will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
